MOVEMENT: Full plate movement engraved 'Jere Gregory London'. Balance cock with pierced and engraved table, free form edge, small pierced and engraved foot, free form edge. Brass balance. Steel sliding regulator registering on engraved scale in top plate, ends marked 'F' and 'S'. Tangent set-up on top plate having foot only of blued steel set-up pointer, brass wheel, steel worm with plain blued steel pivot blocks. Silver locking plate engraved with radial Arabic figures. Fusee iron post tulip shaped. Pierced and engraved fixed striking barrel. Case bolt on brass edge, nib projecting from brass edge. Potance and counter-potance riveted to top plate. Hammer arbour turned. Plain blued steel striking gates. Striking barrel pierced and engraved, fixed to top plate. Pillar plate with four Egyptian pillars with single loop pediments, and one turned steel pillar. Second, third of going train, and fourth wheel of striking train pivoted in plate under dial. Fusee and chain, barrel with one lip, tangentset-up on top plate. Verge escapement. Train planted anti-clockwise. Striking train of five pinions, plain end pinion arbour. Striking train planted clockwise.
BRASS EDGE: Three feet, engraved wheat ear border on inside
DIAL: White enamel on copper, outer ladder quarter hour circle, radial Arabic chapters.
HAND: Blued steel beetle hour (minute hand missing).
INNER CASE: Plain gilt metal with broad pendant, scratched on the inside 'AD 1816' under the bell.
OUTER CASE (A): Plain gilt metal, single ring of holes around bezel. Scratched inside 'Wreyg' and 'AD 1816'.
