Verge watch in silver pair case.

MOVEMENT: Full plate movement engraved 'Edw Perry LONDON'. Balance cock with pierced and engraved table with ears, having symmetrical design with two birds, mask at neck, foot pierced and engraved, having narrow edge chamfered at plate edge with wheat ear engraving. Steel balance. Slide plate pierced and engraved with irregular edge. Foot near name plain. Silver regulation dial, with Arabic figures 5 to 20. Fusee iron post pierced. Bright steel case bolt with flat decorative foot. Potance with short foot riveted to plate. Counter-potance riveted. Pillar plate with four plain Egyptian pillars. Fusee and chain, tangent set up under barrel, one lip on barrel. Verge escapement. Train planted anti-clockwise.

BRASS EDGE: Gilt with engraved ring outside dial, three feet (one missing). Four unused dial holes.

DIAL: White enamel on copper with three feet. Radial 5 minute Arabic figure, ladder minute ring, squat radial Roman chapters, inner circle.

HANDS: Blued steel beetle and poker.

INNER CASE: Plain silver, split bezel (glass missing). Inside case stamped with maker's mark, incise 'SD'. Ball pendant on cylindrical stem, ring bow.

OUTER CASE (A): Plain silver, back engraved 'W * M' in centre. No maker's or other marks inside.
