Brass edge and silver dial.
ITEM: Brass edge with silver champleve dial engraved 'BERRY LONDON'.
BRASS EDGE: Gilt and decorated with radial lines outside dial recess. Back with three mounting pillars with holes for pins, raised edge with cut to accommodate joint, steel friction spring for date ring.
DIAL: Silver champleve dial. Radial Arabic 5 min. figures on cushions, ladder minute ring with arrows at quarters, radial Roman chapters with elongated diamond shapes between, large hole with pierced centre, with blued steel backing disc. Centre pierced and chased with plaques above and below the centre, top plaque engraved 'BERRY'. Bottom plaque, with date hole in centre, engraved 'LON DON'.
DATE RING: Silvered brass date ring with vertical Arabic numbers 1 to 31.
History note: Unknown before S.G. Perceval (1838-1922)
