Description

Gilt brass engraved consular case

CASE: Well-worn gilt brass consular case with bezel and back engraved and chased, with a deisgn of foliage and flowers against a line background. Was previously enamelled. Inside stamped in centre with what may be a leopard's head, and scratch mark '2532'. Pendant slot, 2/3 in body and 1/3 in bezel.
