Gilt brass outer case covered in green shagreen.
OUTER CASE: Gilt brass covered with very well-worn shagreen. Bezel with circle of pins, diamond of four decorative pins (three missing, one with three pins missing, one with one pin missing), three pins between with larger central pin (ten pins missing). Two portions of shagreen missing and twisted wire at edge missing. Body with circle of pins as bezel (one diamond missing, one with two pins missing, one with one pin missing, two other pins missing). Single large decorative pin in centre of back, ring of twisted wire around edge of body. Pendant slot all in body. '1169' scratched on body opening flat at 11 o'clock.
WATCHPAPERS (A): One printer paper and one plain silk material disc. Printed disc with an animated version of the Royal coat of arms at the top, printed below 'DWERRIHOUSE, CARTER / OGSTON & BELL. / 27 / Davies Street, / from Berkeley Square.' On back is written '602 / 26 / Fqr' with curved line under '602'
