Description

Outer case covered in tortoise shell.

OUTER CASE: Well worn gilt brass covered with tortoiseshell painted on reverse, with black patches above coloured patches in shell and pale green background. Bezel covered in tortoiseshell with ring of thirty-two plain headed pins (three missing). Back covered with tortoiseshell with ring of forty-seven plain pins at edge (seventeen pins missing). Inside back inscribed 'Green / Black / Torwis' (?). Pendant slot in body, with nick in bezel.
