Description

Wood-fired stoneware drinking bowl, with foot. Of hemispherical form, fired upside down on three small shells, the remains of which are visible in the well. Kaki glaze and natural ash give matt brown and smooth black areas.
No mark.

History note: Bought by Shakeshaft from an exhibition at Harlequin Gallery (Greenwich), 7th September 2008
