Description

Wood-fired stoneware bottle, fired on its side on two shells. Iron-rich clay gives a warm tan colour on one side, and matt khaki colour due to the natural ash on the other.

History note: Bought by Shakeshaft at the Craft Potters Association Christmas Fair (Bloxham) 12th December 1998
