Description

Wood-fired stoneware bowl with strong rim, rounded base (on which are three prominent shell marks) and two lug handles. Thick Shino glaze, with a splash of soda Shino giving creamy pink/tan colours.

History note: Bought by Shakeshaft from the 'Art in Clay' fair in Hatfield, 6th August 2004
