Wood-fired stoneware vase in the Shigaraki style. Coiled, altered and carved, Tabimakura (log shape) form. The anagama firing has given a creamy green ash deposit with a slight pink tinge on one side, some light tan on the other, and a glassy area on the rim.


History note: Bought by Shakeshaft from the Harlequin Gallery (Greenwich), 11th May 2008
