Glassmaker: Hamada, Yoshio
Deep green blown glass, with applied pale yellow glass rim, trailing and reliefs The bulbous lower part of the vase contracts into a tapering cylindrical neck with a thick, applied yellow glass rim. Round the neck there is a horizontal trail of yellow glass with four applied circular reliefs with a depression in the centre of each. Below this there are four applied curvilinear triangular motifs, and below them, a trailed horizontal yellow band, all of which appear partially blue when the light strikes them.
