Description

Cyclindrical grip behind with roughly rectangular ends, the sides of that carrying the seal face inscribed Ja II (James Pye, or play on material, often misnamed jasper), M with crosses at feet and zodical sign for Virgo; grip also shows evidence of use as touchstone.

Heart surmounted by cross.
