Description

Grey- green serpentine seal, lentoid, engraved on one side with a series of circles with central dots and on the other with a bird, probablly added later. Pierced.

History note: Formerly in the Edenmeyer Collection. Christies 5.6.1989, lot 131.

History note: Put up for auction at Christie's, London 5/6/1989 lot 35 (part), but remained unsold.

History note: Formerly in the Erlenmeyer collection, formed by Herr Erlenmeyer (died 1968) between 1943 and 1963.
