Shallow dish and later carved wooden stand and silk lined box. Very shallow light-grey, stoneware dish covered with speckled, duck-egg blue glaze. The round, shallow dish with smoothly curving sides has a low footrim and recessed, flat base. The glaze runs unevenly down to the footrim. The carved, ebonized stand rests on five feet, and together with the dish fits into a blue box lined with turquoise silk.
