Conical celadon bowl. Grey stoneware, thrown, covered with a soft green glaze, crazed in places, with incised decoration. The bowl has an everted rim, and tapers to a narrow footrim with recessed base, roughly finished. It is decorated on the outside with fine incised lines. The glaze is unevenly spread, leaving several brown patches on the exterior.
History note: H.S. Reitlinger (d.1950); the Reitlinger Trust, Maidenhead, from which transferred in 1991.
