Circular box and cover. Earthenware, painted in green, turquoise, yellow and grey enamels, and incised decoration. The cover has rounded sides and a slightly concave top, fitting over the rim of the body. The rounded sides of the body taper to a low footrim with flat, recessed, glazed base. The cover has incised decoration depicting two figures, one seated beside a peony in a vase, the other pouring liquid into a vase with house and tree nearby, within an incised double-line circle. Above the rim is a border of scrolling foliage with an incised double-line circle. The base has three incised, flowering branches with a double-line circle above the footrim. The interior and base are glazed in yellow.
