Description

Baluster vase with dragon head handles. Earthenware painted in underglaze-blue under a crackle glaze.
The vase has a wide-rimmed dish mouth, cylindrical neck flaring at the base and applied with dragon head handles, rounded body, waisted with high spreading foot, deep, recessed, glazed base. The body painted on either side with a dragon among fire scrolls, below a herringbone border around the mouth and emblem border around the foot (brush pot? and ruyi head? alternating).
