Description

Lace-paper with silver detailing mounted on embossed paper with crimped edges. The lace-paper has a window at the centre which is backed with net around which is a collage of chromolithographed scraps of birds inside a garland of flowers. Leaves made from white silk are affixed around the edges of the collage. The collage is mounted onto paper springs which, when lifted up, reveal a net a bird's nest with a Cupid inside it and the motto: 'Unexpected Love'. The inside of the card is blank.
