Description

Lace-paper mounted on paper springs. An ecclesiastical design with quatrefoil windows at upper left and right and an arched window with gothic tracery at the centre which opens to reveal a lithographed cut-out head-and-shoulders portrait of a dark-haired woman wearing an orange dress and a beaded cross around her neck. A printed verse cut into a roundel with crimped edges affixed below the window: 'Forget Me Not ...' A lithographic scrap of a flower garland stuck on to the paper above the arched window. 'Wood' blind-stamped onto the edge of the frame at lower centre.
