Description

Paper with an embossed border and hand colouring in watercolour of embossed flower-detailing in the corners. A chalk lithographed church with glazing, cut-out and affixed to the paper at the centre with scraps of a butterfly and dove. A collage of dyed grasses and paper scraps below the church and a gilt lace-paper frame around a printed verse (as hand-written): 'I love thee / Yes, I love thee well / As heart can wish, or / tongue can tell'. MEEK blind-embossed onto the paper at lower right.
