Valentine card
Publisher: Meek, George
Silver lace-paper with a central round panel onto which is adhered a cut-paper chromolithograph of a bird of paradise. A scroll with the motto: "To one I love" at upper centre. The lace-paper front opens to reveal a silver lace-paper frame with an oval window inside the card, at the centre of which is a lithograph cut-out of Cupid wearing a purple apron and tending to a pot plant in a garden. "Remember Me" is printed inside a scroll within the lace-paper at lower centre. MEEK blind-embossed onto the central round panel at lower centre (visible from the verso).
