Valentine card

Lace-paper with an embossed design of flowers, buds and filigree leaves, all of which are hand-coloured to appear as the dog-rose; the flowers and buds are pale pink with yellow centres and the leaves a pale green. The motto: "Truth" is cut into the lace-paper at lower centre and hand-coloured. A central oval-shaped panel is backed with net and hand-decorated with dark green net leaves and silver tinsel foliage. A hand-coloured cut-paper temple (varnished) is affixed to the centre of the panel. The inside of the card is blank.
