Description

Lace-paper front paper mounted onto pale pink paper. Discolouration from glue at upper and lower edges. A central panel contains a small cut-paper collage of forget-me-nots and a piece of white lace with silk ribbon wrapped around a ball of pink cotton wool (presumably originally soaked in perfume). Above and below is the hand-written inscription: "May angels / protect you / My darling / good night!". DOBBS blind-embossed at lower centre.
