Description

A 4to-sized Valentine of cream laid paper with a red, printed edge and a wood-engraved oval frame of flowers in gold, metallic ink. Inside the frame is a hand-coloured lithograph, cut as a roundel, of a woman and girl seated against rocks. A printed verse in blue ink (as hand-written script) above and below: "Een time will never from my heart / thy much loved image blot / Tho' every other dream depart / Thou wilt not be forgot". The inside of the card is blank. Watermark with crown and initials "A T?". Almost identical to P.14344-R-63.
