Publisher: Unknown
A 4to-sized Valentine of cream laid paper with a red, printed edge and a wood-engraved oval frame of flowers in gold, metallic ink. Inside the frame is a hand-coloured lithograph, cut as a roundel, of a man and woman (1830s dress) walking together in a landscape. A printed verse in blue ink (as hand-written script) above and below: "Accept the pledge and make me bless / for I love but thee alone / O place reliance on a breast / Of those thoughts are all thine own". Watermark with crown and initials "A T?". The inside of the card is blank. Almost identical to P.14344-R-62.
