Description

Embossed cream wove paper with a hand-coloured brown object attached as a flap (is this a loaf of bread?) with blue satin ribbon. A roundel at the centre is decorated with a printed flower garland scrap and contains the printed motto: "Unite with me, / and we will win it" Underneath the flap is a silver framed verse entitled: "The wedded pair / must surely swear / their married life / has known no strife." This card has been mounted landscape instead of portrait orientation into the album. The inside of the card is blank. MEEK embossed at lower centre.
