Description

A lithographed design on 4to-sized wove paper with a large, hand-coloured vignette at upper centre featuring a woman reclining on a chaise longue in an interior, visited by Cupid. The quality of the lithographic drawing is very poor in this vignette. Below, an illuminated letter begins a printed verse: "Fragrant is the air and wooing - / The Song-birds note floats in the breeze, ...". The inside pages are blank. One of a series.
