Description

A tinted lithograph (in sepia) with hand-colouring and varnish on white wove paper with a red printed edge. A series of vignettes connected by decorative brackets and swags; A woman leans out from an oriel window; a man reclines below, gesturing towards her; a Cupid carrying a flaming torch hovers to the left of the window. A church is seen in the distance to the right of the window. A printed verse below: "Fly oh! fly my gentle dove / Upon thy transporting wing / Carry that letter to my love / And soon an answer bring." The inside pages are blank.
