Valentine card
Publisher: Addenbrooke, Joseph
White wove paper with a lace-paper border around a hand-coloured lithograph of a Cupid holding a flaming torch, hovering above a baldachin-type structure bearing Cupid's emblems of quiver and arrow and hearts; a church seen in the background on the left. A printed verse below: "Fain would I my griefs impart / As I find them getting stronger / Secret love will break my heart / If I conceal it longer ...". Embossed stamp at upper right: ADDENBROOKE. The inside pages are blank.
