Valentine card

White laid paper with a red printed edge. A hand-coloured, lithographed scene of a couple walking along a path towards a church within a decorative border of scrolls, putti with garlands and emblems of Cupid, including a flaming torch and quiver of arrows. A verse printed on the diagonal at upper left and lower right: "Consent dear girl to be my bride / To Hymen's fane let's haste / And be my all, my joy my pride / No longer moments waste". The inside pages are blank. Stained on the verso, lower left corner. This card has been folded twice across the centre.
