Description

Etching and engraving with hand-colouring on a single sheet of 4to-size white wove paper. Central image within an oval etched frame of a lady wearing regency dress holding a portrait entitled "Your Husband". Cupid sits beneath a tree to the right reading from a book entitled: "Love's Lottery / BOOK / in / Cupids Store". Etched verse (numbered stanzes) around the central image: "Approach sweet maid and do not fear, / Love's pleasing lottery is here ...". From a series.
