Description

18mo-sized white lace-paper front sheet with design of birds bearing letters within entwined foliage and net blind across an oval-shaped window at the centre. A second sheet of lace-paper, with green slip paper behind, has a panel of rice-paper at the centre which is bordered with a pink velvet ribbon and decorated with a collage of cut-paper and hand-coloured flowers, foliage and circular temple. A hand-written message: "Tribute / of / sincere / Love". Silvered scraps affixed above and below: "HOR" and framed motto: "Be / mine / dear / Maid". The back sheet is blank.
