Description

White lace-paper (the front sheet adhered to the back sheet, which has been trimmed unevenly) with a gilt and hand-coloured cameo-embossed lace-paper frame mounted on paper springs with figures of a female dancer and a male musician. A silver framed hand-written motto at lower centre: "Love in my heart / sits smiling / Life's sweetest hours / Beguiling". A gilt embossed inner frame around a net blind decorated with red tinsel twigs, embossed and chromolithographed Hymen and cut-paper female figure with blue linen skirt applied.
