Valentine card
Publisher: Mossman, David (paper manufacturer and embosser)
Embossed silver lace-paper with a central silver-lace paper frame mounted on paper springs. The 'frame' is designed as an archway with trefoil decoration and is mounted with three collages of white satin leaves, chromolithographed scraps and silver metallic cut-paper foliage. At the centre of the window is a collage of fabric flowers (including a violet and pink rosebud), fabric grasses and yellow feathers. MOSSMAN is embossed onto the silver lace-paper frame at lower centre (just visible above the collage). The front sheet is adhered to the back sheet.
