Comic valentine. Small 48mo-size card with hand-coloured lithograph of a gentleman wearing a brown suit and top hat, holding a wine glass in his right hand and reaching for a decanter of wine on a table to the right. The title printed below: OR ANY OTHER MAN. A lithographed mocked-up 'letter' inside written from the point of view of a woman addressing a man: "My Dear Sir / Pardon the liberty / I take but since our interview / you have completely usurped / my thoughts and but that modesty forbids / I would tell you how ardently I adore / you". From a series. See also P.14412-R-41, which is mounted on the same album leaf.
