Valentine card

Loose inside album P.14412-R between nos. 60 and 63. A mock advert for a 'Lady's Maid' inside an envelope. A small envelope of cream laid paper with an embossed rose on the flap contains a single sheet of cream wove paper with letterpress decorative border in red around an 'advert' printed in black ink: 'WANTED, a LADY'S MAID, one / who will not ape her mistress's style and / manner, and not consider herself superior to the / rest of the servants. - Apply, N.O., Takedown / Crescent, West.'.
