Valentine card

Small 64mo embossed white wove paper. An embossed silvered ornament of a woman on a pedestal enshrined with flowers and a gilt-framed purple heart with the printed motto: 'THUS FONDLY / DO [sic] / LOVE THEE'. The interior is blank. The front paper is adhered to the back paper. One of 12 small valentines, mainly unknown makers, mounted as a group across two leaves of album P.14413-R. Uses the same embossing pattern as nos. 52 and 55 and the same embossed ornament as nos. 49 and 53.
