Valentine card

Playing card-size lithographed geometric design using purple and gold inks. Affixed at the centre is a glazed chromolithograph on a paper spring of a dark-haired winged putti peeping over a white Japanese fan decorated with flowers (poppy, cornflowers, daisies) and with the printed motto: 'Wishing you every Happiness!'. The interior is blank. One of a series of cards with similar geometric lithographed designs and applied chromolithographs mounted on the same leaf of album P.14413-R. P.14413-R-60 is of the same design, but with paler purple ink in the background lithographed design, a different coloured fan, different flowers and motto and blonde-haired putti.
