Valentine card

A 16mo valentine of white lined paper wth scalloped edges onto which a layer of silver lace-paper with a central oval window is affixed with paper springs. The lace-paper is heavily decorated with fabric flowers; two large strings of white and yellow 'blossom' which hang over the central window at upper centre and forget-me-nots and white leaves, flowers and silver embossed leaves at lower centre. An embossed scrap with printed motto: 'LOVE' at lower centre. A collage of white gauze, bunches of blue and white flowers with yellow stamens and white feathers with gold tinsel ornaments within the central window. The interior is blank.
