Description

Small 48mo valentine of white wove paper onto which a frame of gilt-lace paper with pink ground and oval-shaped window is mounted with paper springs. A gilt-framed printed motto with green ground at lower centre: 'TO MY FRIEND'. A large embossed chromolithograph of the head and shoulders of a nurse in uniform affixed at the centre and a scrap of a pink rose at upper centre. The interior is blank. A hand-written inscription on the verso is visible (but illegible) through the inside right-hand page.
