Valentine card
Publisher: Mullord Bros.
An embossed, silver lace-paper frame with an oval window mounted with paper springs (lower left one missing) onto cream embossed paper with shaped edges tinted purple. The frame is decorated with an embossed flower garland scrap at upper centre and flowers and birds with the motto: 'May our hearts be united' at lower centre. Two silver embossed putti figures are mounted on rice-paper 'clouds' and paper springs at upper left and right. The embossed layer is decorated with a collage comprising a silver embossed paper frame, embossed flower scraps at upper and lower centre and a central ivy garland with a rice-paper blind and cut-paper figure of putti which is mounted on paper springs (upper right one come unstuck). 'MULLORD BROS' stamped on the embossed layer at lower centre (viewed from verso). The interior is blank.
