Valentine card

Cream laid paper mounted with a smaller piece of white embossed paper with shaped edges affixed with paper springs. At the centre of the embossed paper is a chromolithograph, cut with a scalloped edge, of the head and shoulders of a young girl wearing a blue dress. At lower centre is a collage of a large yellow and purple fabric flower with yellow stamens and a hand-coloured leaf to the left (the right-hand leaf is lost) with printed motto below: 'Requite my Love'. Embossed flower scraps at upper centre of forget me nots and violets with the motto: 'I LOVE YOU: DEAR'. An embossed stamp inside a shield on the inside right-hand page of the cream laid paper at lower left: '[…] / LONDON'.
