Valentine card

A 'raised' valentine in three layers. The top layer of gilt embossed die-cut paper in the design of a garland of leaves is mounted as a frame on paper springs to a second layer of white lace-paper which is mounted on paper springs to a third layer of white embossed paper. A large, die-cut chromolithograph of Cupid among flowers and with a bird in flight is affixed at the centre of the lace-paper layer with a paper spring. The gilt embossed frame is decorated with a flower scrap at upper centre and a pair of hand-coloured fabric leaves with frosting. 'MULLORD / LONDON' is stamped on the embossed third layer of paper at lower centre. There is no back paper.
