Description

A small 48-mo-size 'raised' valentine with a cameo-embossed top layer 'frame' of die-cut white paper with a pink ground and oval window, mounted on paper springs to a second layer of plain embossed paper with scalloped edge and shaped corners tinted red with oval window. A blind of red gauze across the central window mounted with a scrap of pink and blue flowers in a vase. The top layer frame is decorated with a small, hand-coloured garland of pink roses and scrap of a hand holding a glass with the motto: 'MY LOVE TO YOU'. The front paper is adhered to the back paper.
