Valentine card
Publisher: Unknown
A layer of heavily embossed and ornate silver lace-paper with printed lilac detailing and central oval window mounted on paper springs to a plain embossed front paper. The paper springs are part-adhered to the front paper, but would have lifted up to reveal more fully a 'frame' of white silk leaves and green feathers which surround a central oval-shaped chromolithograph of a boy in a sailor outfit carrying a chest topped with a bouquet of flowers. The back paper is missing.
