Description

A small 48mo-size valentine of white lace-paper with scalloped edges tinted purple and central circular window. The front and back paper are adhered and purple tissue slip paper is inserted inbetween. Two die-cut chromolithographed flower scraps are affixed at upper and lower centre. A letterpress verse on a small white square card is inserted between the front and back paper at the centre: 'A / Birthday Gift / This little gift thou dost / improve, / Its worth remains with / you, - / A trifle, if you do NOT / love, / A treasure IF YOU DO!'
