Description

White embossed lace-paper with design of roses and leaves and central oval-shaped panel mounted with a collage of silk and felt flowers inside a woven basket of brown silk. There are small gold ornaments at the centres of four of the flowers. At the lower centre of the panel is a lithographed motto in French in gold ink: 'DOUX SOUVENIR / Depose'. Surrounding the central panel is a broad circular frame of blue tissue paper leaves with embossed and coloured cut-paper leaves, flowers and fruit. The front paper is adhered to the back paper.
