Description

White lace-paper front with white laid paper back. A hand-coloured lithographed design within the central panel features a pink rose, blue cornflower, yellow buttercup and orange fuschia with overarching branches in leaf above. A nest with two lilac-coloured birds are at lower centre. A verse is lithographed at upper and lower centre: 'Do not bid my / voice be mute / But listen to my / fervent suit'. 'MEEK' stamped at lower left. The interior is blank. This card is identical to another, P.14414-R-46, which is mounted beside it in album P.14414-R. Both are from the same series as P.14414-R-15 and P.14414-R-74.
