Valentine card
Publisher: Kershaw, George
White wove paper with an embossed border design of looping rope and flowers. A central design of a small puzzle purse (blank interior) decorated with stencilled red, bell-like flowers. A scalloped border is drawn around the puzzle purse. Stencilled branches with leaves and applied cut-paper, lithographed flowers in pink and yellow at upper and lower centre. 'KERSHAW [LO]N[DON]' stamped (upsidedown) at lower left and right. The interior is blank. See also P.14414-R-L9, another Kershaw design with a puzzle purse which was found loose in the same album between nos 58 and 59.
