Description

White lace-paper front with white laid paper back. A hand-coloured lithographed design within the central panel features dark pink and yellow flowers entwined with Cupid's bow and arrows. A verse is lithographed at upper and lower centre: 'Oh doubt me not / believe me true / This heart will break / for love of you'. 'MEEK' stamped at lower left. The interior is blank. This card is from the same series as three other cards mounted in album P.14414-R. P.14414-R-15 is a duplicate, but with slightly inferior hand colouring. P.14414-R-45 and P.14414-R-46 are also duplicates from the same series as P.14414-R-15 and P.14414-R-74.
